What Training & Vetting do you perform?
All Security staff have to have completed SIA Approved training and be issued with an SIA Badge as well as a background check for added piece of mind and for further checks.
What is the cost for Security Guards?
Rates are dependant on your requirements, we conduct a site survey, risk assessments and discuss your brief. We can then work with you for the best outcome, we will aim to work towards budgets without affecting safety.
What do I have to provide?
This will be determined at the initial meetings. As standard we would ask that there is access to toilet facilities and access to water and shelter. If there are issues with this we can provide but will have to include a proportion in the quote.
Where in the UK do you cover?
We cover most of the UK with the exception of Scotland and the isles. Our strength and most of our customers are based across the South West of England across to London.
What Insurance do you have?
We have Fully Comprehensive insurance for £5m Public Liability and £10m Employer’s Liability. Details are available upon request, additional cover can be discussed depending on your requirements.
How experiences are you and your team?
Vistar Security have been operating since 2010 although our management team have collective experience of over 35 years. Our team have varying levels of experience, training and knowledge.
Dog Patrols
Why use a Security Dog and Handler?
They are a great visual deterrent and help to reduce crime or the attempt. Dogs have a heightened sense of awareness and can identify situations and issues before they happen.
Will the dogs and handlers look aggressive?
Not at all. All staff have uniforms to suit the premises or occasion. We aim to be professional and visual rather than intimidating. All Dogs are well looked after and groomed as well.
What insurance do you hold?

What if the security dog bites someone?
This will not happen. All of our dogs and handlers are professionally trained. All dogs are assessed and have to undergo many tests before becoming a Patrol Dog. Our dogs are permanently leashed while on duty.
Experience and Qualifications?
Our staff all have SIA licences as well as training for Dog Handling. We also perform in-house training to keep all staff up-to-date. Some staff have had service careers with Dog Handling.
Can we meet your dog and handler teams?
Of course, we would welcome you to. We can bring them to your site or you can visit our offices. It is a great way to meet your team and get to know them before they attend your premises.
